Computer Lab

  • We provide students with upgraded software versions required according to OU curriculum.
  • We provide internet service to the students for exploring more about the subject, write journals, prepare projects and also to apply for various online exams and campus drives.
  • We have well equipped five computer labs with nearly 139 systems.

Physics & Electronics Lab

  • Our Institute has a well-equipped Physics and Electronics laboratories. They provide all the facilities to the students to perform experiments covering the syllabus of Bachelor of Science. Physics and Electronics Labs offer the students the facilities to understand the concepts of Physics and Electronics through experiential learning. Realizing the variety of requirements within the subject, Department of Physics has set up multiple labs to perform various physics experiments.

Microbiology Lab

  • Microbiology Department consists of Three well-established labs that are intended to carry out various curriculum-related studies. The microbiology laboratory is equipped with all the tools and supplies needed to conduct experiments, undertake investigation procedures, and carry out research utilizing biological material. It takes precautions in the lab to work . There are some guidelines that must be followed for Experiments to be carried out with caution.

Chemistry Lab

  • At Ideal, there are two well-established Chemistry laboratories, where students are taught Organic chemistry in Lab-1, Inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry are dealt at Lab - 2. The lab pledged to stimulate the young brains and discover their abilities in safety protocols, Synthesis, Purification, instrumentation, and computation. The lab promotes lifelong learning by broadening students' horizons in terms of complexity, scope, and useful information. Chemistry labs are well equipped with modern and basic instruments that include: Centrifuge machine, Water Bath, pH Meter, Water Distillation Unit, Simple and digital balance, colorimeter, Potentiometers, Conductometers.

Nutrition Lab

  • The purpose of the Nutrition laboratory is to enable Undergraduates to get the necessary information for maintaining optimal health at all phases of life and applying that knowledge in clinical practice. The lab has excellent ventilation and is fully furnished with both basic and advanced equipment to enable the application of skills in the creation of a variety of therapeutic food plans. The lab has all the tools required to use a variety of cooking methods in support of nutritious lives.

Library

  • The Central Library spans across 1165sft with a wide collection of over 3948 books and several national and international periodicals encompassing the entire gamut of the disciplines of Science and Commerce. The library also provides access to a wide range of science related and motivational magazines.
  • Our library is automated with an open-source software namely New Genlib, which is an Integrated Library Management Software. All the functional modules of New Genlib software have been implemented in the library. Integrated Library Management System software is installed to maintain the inventory.

Facilities available in the library

  • 1. Free Wi-Fi Internet access and printer facility have been provided.
  • 2. Organization of book exhibitions /display of new books.
  • 3. Proper system of feedback from users to improve library services.
  • 4. For the purchase of books, recommendations are taken from all the departments
  • 5. The library issues 3 cards to every student to obtain books which they can retain for 15 days duration period. The students can avail the library services from 9.00 AM to 4.30 PM.

An Online Platform - WEB OPAC (ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE) - is a facility made available through library management software to know the bibliographical details about the collection. One separate node is made available in the library for OPAC facility. Through web OPEC the user from any location can search the library collection. Search is done by giving title, author, Accession number and domain can be a carried out.

IDCW features spacious, well-ventilated, and fully sanitized ICT-enabled classrooms. These classrooms are equipped with various ICT tools for communication, content creation, dissemination, information storage, and management. Each ICT-enabled classroom can accommodate up to 60 students.

The most prominent feature of IDCW is the facility of digitalized education facilitated through 139 computers which constitute 4 labs. The institution has 21 LCD projectors installed in 20 different classrooms and 1 in the Seminar hall. High speed internet with 300mbps and 1hour UPS backup facility is provided.

These ICT facilities are used to an optimum level to enhance the teaching learning process.

  • This Centre handles all issues related to counselling ranging from admissions of students to other areas of concern where students have issues academically or personal problems.
  • The students who are in a fix and unable to resolve as to which course they should join are given counselling and advised for a better choice.

Cafeteria

  • The cafeteria offers hygienic, nutritious and tasty snacks at affordable prices. Cafeteria can be visited strictly only during the break time.

Internet Facilities

  • To promote e-learning among students, the college is Wi-fi-enabled providing free access to internet in order to constantly update their knowledge.

Visitors Lounge

  • The college provides a welcoming waiting area for visitors to ensure a pleasant experience. There is a register in place to capture visitor information and the purpose of their visit to the college.

Sick Room

  • The college infirmary is equipped to offer medical assistance to students who experience physical ailments while in class. Services include treatment for common issues such as fainting spells, vomiting, abdominal pain, back aches, and other health concerns.

Security

  • The institution gives utmost priority to security, and to ensure 100% safety in all aspects, IDCW has installed CCTV cameras and with regard to fire safety, fire extinguishers are installed at crucial places.
  • Biometric is facilitated for staff and students to validate their attendance every day.
