Admission Process via TSCHE DOST Telangana

For Colleges: OU Affiliation & DOST Registration

Submission of Affiliation Order Copy to Osmania University (OU):

  • The college must submit its Affiliation Order Copy and approved intake details for each course to Osmania University (OU).
  • This step is necessary to get the college officially listed on the TSCHE DOST Telangana portal.

Obtaining College Login Credentials:

  • After submission and verification by OU, the college will be provided with a User ID and Password for accessing the official college dashboard on the DOST portal.
  • This login enables the college to manage admissions, seat allotments, and student reporting online.

For Students: DOST Registration & Admission Process

Obtaining College Login Credentials:

  • Each student wishing to apply for undergraduate programs must first register on the TSCHE DOST Telangana portal.
  • The student needs to pay a registration fee of ₹200/- to generate a unique DOST ID and Password, which is essential to proceed with the application process.

Filling the DOST Application Form:

  • Using the DOST ID and Password, students should log in to the DOST portal, carefully fill in their personal, academic and course preferences.
  • They can save the form and review before submitting it finally.

Exercise Web Options:

  • After submitting the application form, students have to choose web options, where they can select preferred colleges and courses.
  • Options can be given course-wise or college-wise in order of priority.

Phase-wise Seat Allotment Announcements:

  • TSCHE releases phase-wise allotment lists based on the students' preferences and their merit.
  • Students can check their seat allotment status by logging into their DOST account.

Self-Reporting and Seat Reservation:

  • If a student is allotted a seat, they need to self-report online by paying a seat reservation fee of ₹1000/-.
  • This payment confirms their acceptance of the allotted seat.

Reporting to the Allotted College:

  • After self-reporting, students must visit the allotted college physically.
  • At the time of reporting, they are required to present their allotted OTP (One-Time Password) received from TSCHE DOST to confirm their admission in person.

Final Step: Issuance of Nominal Roll

  • Once the entire admission process is completed, and all students have reported to their allotted colleges, TSCHE issues a final Nominal Roll.
  • This roll contains the list of all admitted students for that academic year and is provided to the respective colleges for their official records.
