Women Empowerment Cell at IDEAL

At IDEAL College for Women, we firmly believe in the philosophy shared by Swami Vivekananda:

"That country and that nation which doesn’t respect women will never become great now and nor will ever in future."

Inspired by this vision, the Women Empowerment Cell was established in 2019 with the motto:

"Strong Women, Strong Nation."
The cell actively works to empower the female students and faculty by enhancing awareness on women’s rights, gender equality, personal safety and professional opportunities. Through training programs, awareness campaigns and personality development initiatives, the cell ensures that every woman on campus is confident, self-reliant and equipped to face the world with dignity.

To empower women for holistic development, personal growth, and active participation in building a progressive, prosperous nation.

Mission

To uplift female students and faculty by providing a platform for personal and professional development through education, skill training, and leadership opportunities.

Objectives

  • To promote awareness about gender equality and women's rights among students and staff.
  • To organize training sessions in self-defense techniques for the safety and confidence of female students.

  • To conduct seminars, workshops & special lectures on career development, entrepreneurship & personal growth opportunities.
  • To nurture and guide aspiring women entrepreneurs and help them achieve their professional goals.
