Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC) at IDEAL

At IDEAL Degree College for Women, we believe in fostering an inclusive and participative learning environment where every student’s voice matters. The Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC) serves as a vital bridge between the students and the college management, ensuring that the students' perspectives are represented in institutional decision-making processes.

Functioning under the guidance of the Student Deans and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the SQAC comprises student members carefully selected by the Deans based on their academic achievements, co-curricular participation, and leadership potential. Members represent diverse disciplines, ensuring balanced and inclusive representation.

SQAC plays a proactive role in cultivating leadership, teamwork, organizing abilities, accountability, and self-confidence among students. It collaborates with college statutory, academic, and administrative committees to coordinate academic, cultural, and outreach events, while also acting as a responsible platform for voicing student concerns and implementing constructive solutions.

Vision

To create an inclusive, empowered, and thriving student community where every voice is respected, valued, and empowered to drive positive change. The Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC) envisions a campus culture where students actively contribute to the academic, social, and cultural development of the institution. Through collaborative leadership, participative governance, and value-based initiatives, SQAC aims to foster a progressive environment that nurtures personal growth, leadership potential, social responsibility, and lifelong learning. The vision extends beyond campus boundaries, encouraging students to engage with the larger community and become catalysts for societal welfare and national development.

Mission

Our mission is to represent, support, and advocate for student interests by fostering open dialogue, constructive feedback, and inclusive decision-making. The SQAC is committed to ensuring that students have a meaningful voice in shaping the policies, activities, and growth of the institution. Through leadership training, quality assurance initiatives, and active involvement in academic and cultural activities, we aim to cultivate responsible, confident, and socially aware student leaders.

SQAC strives to create a safe, vibrant, and supportive campus environment that upholds discipline, equality, inclusivity, and innovation. Acting as a dynamic link between the student body and the college management, the cell works to enhance student engagement, address concerns, and facilitate opportunities for holistic development. Our mission also encompasses promoting civic awareness, environmental responsibility, and a culture of academic excellence, ensuring that every student contributes positively to both campus life and the broader community.
